Wildcats Add the Explosive Watkins

ATLANTA, GA-- The Atlanta Wildcats have come to terms with former Chowan University wide receiver Imeek Watkins. Watkins and the Wildcats agreed to terms on a 2-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed. 

Watkins had a stellar collegiate career as a receiver and kick returner for the Hawks. In three seasons of competition, Watkins would be the school's all-time leader as a receiver with 137 receptions for 1956 yards and 21 touchdowns. In addition, he would contribute in the return and rushing game with 23 returns for 720 yards and 1 touchdown and 55 rushing attempts for 379 yards and 1 touchdown.

Watkins will provide the Wildcats with an explosive playmaker with championship pro football experience as he was a member of the 2022 IFL champions in the Northern Arizona Wranglers.
