Kapitals Add Former Hastings College Safety Tarr

INDEPENDENCE, MO-- The Kansas City Kapitals have announced the signing of former Hastings College defensive back Jacob Tarr to an agreement on a two-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

As a defender at Hastings College, the 6'1", 210-pound Tarr was a big hitter that separated opposing receivers from the football with big hits. Amassing an impressive college football career with the Broncos in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

After completing his college eligibility, Tarr would begin his professional football career in Brazil with Juiz de Fora Imperadores. Followed by a season in the Indoor Football League with the Nebraska Danger and a season in Germany with the Frankfurt Pirates. 

With the addition of Tarr, the Kapitals add a veteran and physical presence to their secondary. As a result, the Kapitals are looking to become a force in the seven-team Western Conference of the UFL.
