Baton Rouge Redsticks To Join The UFL

ATLANTA, GA--  The United Football League (UFL) is pleased to announce that the Baton Rouge Redsticks will join current league members in joining the UFL for the 2022 campaign.

The Redsticks will be located in the United States' sixty-seventh most populous metro area in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Louisiana's capital city has once hosted spring football in Arena Football 2 (AF2) members, the Baton Rouge Blaze. However, the Redsticks will be the city's first outdoor professional football team, as the Redsticks will begin competition next spring.

The Redsticks did not immediately release further details as the league has asked joining members to withhold additional information at this time. 

The UFL will make team details and league announcements later this fall in an official league press release slated for later this fall.
